On April 12, Bolloré Logistics and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) reached the next milestone in their academic collaboration with the Year 2 Robotics Systems SITizens presenting their creative solutions for their final project module presentation. This module was co-designed by SIT and Bolloré Logistics, and the students were tasked to come up with proposals to improve productivity and increase automation in warehouses. “Bridging academia and industry, our students unveiled innovative solutions to real-world challenges, showcasing the symbiotic growth and learning that emerges from this collaboration. This partnership not only equips our students with invaluable hands-on experience but also offers our industry partners fresh perspectives and new ideas, embodying the essence of impactful education and forward-thinking problem-solving,” shared Kenichi Kato, Lead Professional Officer, SIT. The Bolloré Logistics teams in the United Arab Emirates recently carried out the transport of deaerators in connection with the Jafurah cogeneration project, led by the largest electricity utility in South Korea, in collaboration with an oil and gas company from Saudi Arabia. This landmark achievement required the meticulous coordination of the road transport of two deaerators, from Dubai to Jafurah, Saudi Arabia, each measuring 18 x 5 x 5 meters and weighing 52.5 tons. Despite numerous challenges, including managing complex border regulations and transporting oversized cargo, our team rose to the occasion, leveraging their expertise and commitment to ensure the smooth movement of these critical components. Our strategic partnership with specialist suppliers equipped with hydraulic and modular trailers was central to the success of this operation, allowing us to overcome logistical obstacles and deliver the degassers to their destination safely. The Jafurah cogeneration project is of immense importance in the field of energy infrastructure, and we are proud to have played a crucial role in its progress. Succès confirmé pour les rencontres Douanes    Dans la poursuite des rencontres visant à rassembler ses clients autour de sujets d’actualité, Bolloré Logistics a organisé deux nouveaux événements Opérations douanières et Conformité le 9 avril 2024 à Bordeaux, et le 11 avril 2024 à Pont à Mousson, en présence du service commercial, de la direction régionale et direction des ventes France.   Un programme chargé, regroupant trois thèmes majeurs : un état des lieux et les perspectives MACF, la digitalisation des déclarations douanières, une réforme ayant pour objectif de créer un écosystème douanier dématérialisé et interconnecté, et l’ingénierie douanière.   Ces deux événements ont rencontré un grand succès puisque pas moins de 50 clients ont effectué le déplacement pour partager et échanger sur ces dernières évolutions.   #BolloreLogistics #Douanes #Evenement
